What we want to accomplish
What we need
Who we need

Grant-writing - We suck at this, so help us.

Something we should be doing? Submit a project.

For any volunteer, we have two baseline requirements.

  • Passion and commitment to our mission to scale adoption of healthcare's fixes
  • You get stuff done. We're a small team working on a huge issue, so it's critical that you follow through.

Upsides of any

  1. Individual Health Rosetta ecosystem membership
  2. Your name in lights. At least on the Health Rosetta website.
  3. Sweet satisfaction that you're meaningfully helping scale adoption of healthcare's fixes
  4. A free copy of the book. Maybe even two copies if you're really good.
  5. Letters of recommendation, a nice card to your mom, and we'll help you build relationships.

Downsides

  1. You have to get to know Dave, Sean, and the Institute team better. We're awful.
  2. We're a non-profit, so it's a volunteer gig. There's a remote chance we could hire you if there's a good fit, but we probably won't have budget allocated until 2018.

Current projects

Key initiatives where we're focused right now.

Summary
We're publishing a book! It's called the CEO's Guide to Restoring the American Dream: How to deliver world class healthcare to your employees at half the cost. It's like a field guide for employers to adopt Health Rosetta high-performance benefits.

We don't want it to gather dust at Barnes and Noble, so we're getting creative to ensure it gets to every CEO and benefits manager.

Part of this is a gift-a-book program and we need your help to make it successful.

  1. Creative thinking and work to identify and attract potential givers (anyone from a benefits broker to benefits vendor to a trade association to Bill Gates)
  2. Operations - e.g. support, fulfillment, etc.

This isn't packing boxes or anything. The books will only feel the touch of a heartless robot in some dystopian Amazon warehouse.

Time/expertise needs

  1. Passion for our mission to scale adoption of healthcare's fixes
  2. You get stuff done. We're a small team working on a huge issue, so it's critical that you follow through.
  3. You get fulfillment from helping people
  4. General ability to use software. We're big fans of using tech to make everything hum and reduce monotonous work. We're generally using Hubspot, Shopify, Amazon, Google Suite, but may add others as it makes sense.
  5. Ability and patience to research and identify high-potential distribution channels.

Time commitment
We're looking for someone that can commit 4 hours a week through at least through August. In the beginning this might be a bit more as we figure things out. We'd gladly have you spend more time. Location doesn't matter as we're virtual ourselves.

Summary
We're creating broker compensation disclosure standards to increase transparency in benefits purchasing processes. If you love disclosure, systems change, or just fixing healthcare, we'd love to have you help.

Expertise needs

We're looking for a couple types for this.

  1. Disclosure standards, especially in other areas like the capital markets
  2. Digital content marketing or grassroots marketing
  3. Influence in the benefits purchaser or broker markets to help drive adoption

Time commitment
Flexible. This will depend on whether you're an expert that wants to help develop the requirements or want to help spread adoption.
