John considers himself fortunate to work alongside the insightful and forward-thinking Rosetta membership as they continue their work: bringing all healthcare stakeholders together to create a common agenda and utilize our collective impact to create positive change in the health and healthcare of Americans. By building a nationwide consortium of like-minded entities, employer and provider, public and private, the Health Rosetta is making great strides toward achieving our goals.

John helped found Southern Benefit Systems in 2010 and the company was the first to bring a fair pay reimbursement to South Carolina in 2014 when it installed ELAP in one of its clients. Since then, the company has started a pure advisory firm, K2 Advisors Group, to help brokers implement the cost-containment strategies that result in better benefits at lower costs. Stevens Towing, established more than 100 years ago, has a highly trained and difficult-to-recruit workforce who work on tugboats throughout the East Coast three weeks at a time.
