• If physical therapy isn't in the practice, there should be barrier-free access that is immediate even if the PT organization is separate from the primary care practice.
• Patient satisfaction measures can be abused as a weapon against health professionals (e.g., to over-prescribe pain medication). Net Promoter Score is a good way to encourage proactive and appropriate care.
• If pharmacists aren't in the practice, there should be barrier-free access that is immediate even if the pharmacy is separate from the primary care practice.
• If advanced behavioral therapy isn't in the practice, there should be barrier-free access that is immediate even if the behavioral health organization is separate from the primary care practice.
