Mindy Farnsley is the President at Preferred Benefits, an employee benefits firm started in Louisville in 2002. She is the past president of the Kentucky Association of Health Underwriters (KYAHU), which is the primary advocacy group for the health insurance marketplace in Kentucky. She is also former past president of the Greater Louisville Association of Health Underwriters. For the past fifteen years Mindy has spent extensive time in both Frankfort and Washington DC meeting with, and lobbying Kentucky’s elected officials on various topics pertaining to the Affordable Care Act.
