I started my career in health care work at AIDS Community Research of America (ACRIA), the first-ever activist, community-based research organization.

I left the role of Capacity Building Program Manager at ACRIA to join MetroPlus Health Plan and took on the roles of Marketing & Sales Manager for their HIV Special Needs Plan and Medicare Advantage programs.

I left MetroPlusHealth, briefly, to join Anthem BlueCross BlueShield’s Commercial & Specialty Division (as an Account Executive) then returned to MetroPlusHealth as the Commercial Sales Manager, contributing to the launch and development of employer-sponsored health insurance lines of business.
