Aaron Witwer has been in the healthcare and health management industry since 2002, providing population health management strategy, employee benefit strategies and administering various health / wellness programming to a variety of clientele; from small local firms to Fortune 500 international corporations.

Aaron is a two-time Health Rosetta Rosie Award winner, two-time Innovator Award winner from the Cleveland Clinic Innovation Institute, and proudly elected Board Member for The MetroHealth System Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio.  He has spoken to dozens of groups large and small at events like the Health Rosetta Conference (RosettaFest), NE Ohio Healthy Business Council, the Health Action Council, Ohio Society of CPAs, and the Ohio Safety Congress & Expo.

Previous work experience includes population health consulting for a large regional insurance broker, wellness program management at the Cleveland Clinic Wellness Institute, wellness coaching, orthopedic rehabilitation, strength & conditioning, personal training and business development.

Personal & Educational

Aaron is married and a proud father of two girls.  Hobbies include basketball, water polo and coaching his kids’ soccer teams, teeball, or whatever his wife tells him.

He graduated from Indiana University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and holds a master’s degree in Sports Health Care from A.T. Still University.  Aaron is also an Eagle Scout.

In addition to being a Board Member for The MetroHealth System, he is also former Chair of the Executive Team of the MetroHealth N.E.T. group; a collection of emerging leaders who advance the mission and vision of The MetroHealth System. He has previously sat on multiple associate boards including the American Heart Association and Cleveland Clinic.
