Aaron is a Health Rosetta certified benefits advisor and Certified Health Value Advisor, and Director of Strategic Growth for Avergent Health. After quitting a large regional traditional brokerage firm in Cleveland, Ohio, he co-founded Humankind Health consulting in 2019 to address health equity and create value-based plan design in the workplace. In 2022, he was employee #2 at BenEngage, a member service agency for progressive benefits advisory firms around the country.

Aaron is a 8-time Rosie Award winner (Health Rosetta), Emerging Leader award finalist (YOU Powered Symposium), two-time Innovator Award (Cleveland Clinic Innovation Institute) and proudly elected Board Member for The MetroHealth System Foundation – Cleveland’s safety net hospital. Previous work experience includes corporate health management at the Cleveland Clinic Wellness Institute, wellness coaching, orthopedic rehabilitation, and strength & conditioning.

Aaron is married and a proud father of two girls. For fun he plays water polo and coaches his kids’ soccer, teeball, or whatever. He graduated from Indiana University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and holds a master’s degree in Sports Health Care from A.T. Still University. He is also an Eagle Scout. In addition to being a Board Member for The MetroHealth System, he is also former Chair of the Executive Team of the MetroHealth N.E.T. group; a collection of emerging leaders who advance the mission and vision of The MetroHealth System. He has previously sat on multiple associate boards including the American Heart Association and Cleveland Clinic.
