Areas of Responsibility
Andy specializes in consulting with medium and large employers to develop long-term strategies using self-funding and alternative funding arrangements. His extensive experience with self-funded group benefit plans includes the use of captive and PBM program management tools. He is responsible for providing risk management support while assisting his clients with controlling and minimizing the total cost of risk and is dedicated to helping clients develop a long term action plan to control cost while providing quality benefits and access to care.

Experience
Andy began his career in employee benefits in 1996 working at an independent insurance agency as a Producer. In 2004 he co-founded Group Benefits of Arkansas which specialized in custom employee benefit programs for employers of all sizes throughout the Midwest. In 2011, Group Benefits of Arkansas had the opportunity to merge with Gallagher Benefit Services which lead him to join Gallagher’s Arkansas Branch as Area Vice President of Sales. With nearly 30 years’ experience, Andy’s expertise lies in specializing in strategic planning and implementing programs that successfully control costs while enhancing overall benefits to the members.

Prior to starting his insurance career, Andy proudly served as an NCO in the United States Marine Corp. He currently resides in Fort Smith, Arkansas with his wife, Brooke, and their three children.
